# baglayan.dev

> Personal website of Meriç Bağlayan, a computer engineer based in Turkey. Also the home of Acouplet: a free, open-source macOS companion app for Sony Bluetooth headphones, earbuds and speakers.

Acouplet runs in the Mac’s menu bar and requires macOS 15.4 or later. Its features include:

- Noise cancellation, ambient sound and voice focus controls.
- Battery levels for headphones, individual earbuds and charging cases where supported.
- Equalizer, DSEE and listening presets.
- Multipoint connection management and audio-source selection.
- Touch control settings, earbud fit tests and head gesture practice on compatible devices.
- Speak-to-Chat, pause-on-removal and automatic power-off settings where supported.
- A global noise-control keyboard shortcut and low-battery notifications.
- Experimental LDAC playback from the Mac, with settings up to 96 kHz and 990 kbps on compatible devices.
- English and Turkish interfaces, with light and dark appearances.

Acouplet 0.32 is an early alpha. Available features depend on the device; not every feature has been tested on every recognized model.

LDAC is opt-in through “More Settings…”. Setup requires the bundled audio driver, system-audio recording permission and a Mac restart after driver installation.

Acouplet’s application code is MIT-licensed. Acouplet is not affiliated with or endorsed by Sony or Apple.
